So you have something of value that another player wants to have or vice versa and you wonder how to do it? There's a great trading system in the game that let's you do all kinds of transactions between players with items and money.

Trading with another player

For this guide we assume your character name is YourName and the other player's name is TheirName.

If you want to start the trade, you would type
/trade TheirName
into your chatline. A message will appear in TheirName's chat window informing them that YourName has requested a trade with a link to accept it.

If they want to start the trade, they would type
/trade YourName
into their chatline. A message will appear in your chat window informing you that TheirName has requested a trade with a link to accept it.

If the trade request is accepted, a window will pop up where each of you can add items and money until you are both happy with what's on the table.

To add items, select inventory (if you started the trade you are probably still in chat mode, so you need to click outside of the chat input for i to work). In the inventory screen, select and click the items you want to give to the other player, a popup menu will appear where you can select "Add to trade". Doing so will make the item appear in the trade window under "Your trading goods". If you added the wrong item, click the item in the trade window and it will be removed again.

To add money, enter the amount of money you wish to give away into the "Money" input field and once you're done with it, click "Set Money", which will make it appear under "Your trading goods".

Before you click "Accept/Complete" make sure, that TheirName has put everything that you wanted and was agreed into "Their Trading Goods", including any money. The trading screen has a few seconds delay, you can click on "Refresh" to get an update of "Their Trading Goods" before accepting.

Once both sides accept, the items are exchanged and the trading window closes automatically.

Trading with another character of yours

There are 2 ways to trade with your other characters. The easiest one is to put an item in the storage box. Any other character on your account can then take it out and use it. There are cases where this however doesn't work: either when you want to trade money to another character of yours or when the character trading the item has already reached the maximum number of things to keep in storage.

In this case, trading with one of your other characters works much like the trading with other players described above. As you may have noticed, if you log out to change character, the character that was logged out stays in the game for about 10 more minutes. That's quite enough time to trade with him.

For this guide we assume your character name is YourName and the other characters name is YourOtherName and you want to exchange items between the two of them. Do it in the following sequence:

1. Change Character to YourOtherName (use the icon right beside the Logout button)
2. Type into your chat input field:
   /trade YourName
3. Add what you want to the trade
4. Change Character to YourName
5. Type into your chat input field:
   /trade YourOtherName
6. Add what you want to the trade
7. Press accept
8. Change Character to YourOtherName
9. Type into your chat input field:
   /trade YourName
10. Press accept

The window will close automatically and the items are exchanged.
