Opal Mamba made good progress. She's now level 12, too, but with a lot of weapon and jewelry plans to learn still.
Adding a good number of skill points to poison magic paid off against the arachnids, the only area where this magic wasn't effective was the skeleton cave - no surprise, those things don't have a metabolism to be poisoned.
